Summer Skills Development

Sierra Canyon offers two classes to entering 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th Grade students to prepare for their transition to the School. They focus on the fundamental study and executive functioning skills required throughout the Sierra Canyon curriculum.

Summer courses are organized by grade levels except for the combined 8th & 9th Grade Writing & Reading Intensive Course. They are taught by either Mr. Tom Keller, Director of Studies, Mrs. Alice Kessler, Director of the Dyne Academic Resource Center, or Mrs. Katherine Cantwell, Associate Director of the Center.
