Summer Programs

Algebra I

Algebra I (For Credit Course)

Sierra Canyon will offer Algebra I to the students who fall into the following categories:

  • Students who took Algebra I and received either a D or an F for one or both semesters.
  • Students entering Algebra II who want or need to improve their skills.
  • Students transferring to Sierra Canyon whose score on the placement test indicates that they would benefit from the course.
Please note that students who have not yet taken Algebra I are not eligible to take these classes.

The benefit of taking this course at Sierra Canyon is that our faculty will tailor the content to emphasize the most important topics for success in subsequent courses at our school. These classes will run if there is sufficient enrollment. It is likely that they will be offered online via Zoom.
