Comics on the Movie Screen

Comics on the Movie Screen - Course Description

Comics on the Movie Screen is a four-week camp for students in grades 7-12. From Batman to Spider-Man and every character in-between, the world loves comic book movies!
In this class, students will be provided with graphic novels that inspired the movies that they love, and together we will meet to watch the films and discuss the books we’ve read and how they compare with the movies. Each week, we will choose a graphic novel to read and a movie to watch (the cost of the books are included in the cost of the class). Students should come excited to talk about comics and comic book movies!
There’s even a chance we will talk with the creators of the comics and films to learn more about how they were made and translated from one medium to another!
