Writing & Reading Intensive Course: $400

Please note that there is a 12 student limit for each session.

8th & 9th Grade: July 25 - July 29
  • Section 1: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. each day
  • Section 2: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day
This course focuses on two of the most important skills for both acquiring and expressing information and academic success: reading and writing. A baseline will be established for students’ reading levels. They will focus on both literary and non-fiction sources unrelated to the required summer reading. In addition, students will review and engage in different genres of writing including evidence-based argumentation and emailing. The instructor will provide feedback to each student regarding their reading and writing. Students will gain a stronger awareness of their skills.
