SC Math Team Girls Shine at San Diego InteGIRLS Competition!

Sierra Canyon’s Math Team girls earned an impressive 5th place finish out of 32 competing teams at the Southern California regional InteGIRLS Math Competition this fall.

Rose Domzalski ’24, Eleanor Li ’23, Mana Sadeghi ’21, and Wendy Wang ’23 represented SC in the three-hour competition that included a 15- problem Team Round and two Relay Rounds.  All parts are group activities, and the girls worked effectively together via Zoom to solve problems, cross-reference answers, and integrate their thoughts. Eleanor Li said, “It was really fun and challenging. We got a lot of problems right.”  The contest was held on Saturday, November 21.
We congratulate the Math Team girls on their outstanding achievement!  We look forward to competing again in the spring InteGIRLS competition.
