Black History Month Begins with Video on Lower Campus

Black History Month began this week on the Lower Campus with a very special video.

Ms. Theodoratos and Mr. Horwitz spoke to students about the importance of Black History Month, sharing how we have celebrated and continue to celebrate diversity and inclusivity at Sierra Canyon. Students were introduced to Morgan May, Sierra Canyon’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Coordinator, and heard a story titled The Undefeated by Kwame Alexander and Kadir Nelson.

Please enjoy this recording of the day’s activities HERE.

We look forward to celebrating and learning more about Black history and Black leaders throughout the month of February with our SC Family!
