Pre-K and K Celebrate 100th Day of School

Kindergarten students had a visit from a surprise guest during a special celebration this week.

The one and only Zero the Hero stopped by to help students celebrate the 100th day of school in the 2020-2021 school year. Zero led the Class of 2033 as they counted from one to one hundred, then they celebrated together with a 100th day cake. Click here to view his arrival!

Afterward, students had listened to a special story, and took a tour of projects they each completed, displaying 100 of something. Project assignments were made that included all kinds of items, such as Legos, pom-poms, pictures, flowers, and even birds! These items made for a fun walk through the Kindergarten classrooms as they viewed everyone’s designs.

Pre-Kindergarten didn’t let the 100th day of school pass without their own celebration. Members of the Class of 2034 dressed up as centenarians to mark this special milestone, but we don’t think they look a day over 99!

Happy 100th day of school to all our Trailblazers. It’s been a wild year, but we are glad to see you haven’t let that hurt your counting skills!
