5th Grade Students Visit Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

Prior to Winter Break, 5th Grade students were able to safely visit the Air Force One Discovery Center at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley.

Students were immersed in real-life situations, where they had the opportunity to experience the responsibilities and challenges faced by leaders in our government, military, and media.

Whether it was taking on the role of a former White House advisor, military advisor, or a member of the press, the Class of 2029 learned a lot about what it was like for President Reagan and others to handle the difficult situation in Grenada in 1983. Along with these simulations, students enjoyed seeing Air Force One and learning about President Reagan’s life as they toured the library.

It was a great day of experiential learning!
