Sierra Canyon's Great Day at the Great Fair!

Last week, Sierra Canyon hosted the annual Great Fair, a day complete with tradition, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

Our newly renovated Lower Campus field was the backdrop for the special day. This beautiful, state-of-the-art space will host many events that all our Trailblazers will enjoy, but it was fitting the Fair be the first—as it is a Sierra Canyon tradition celebrating our strong and thriving community.

There is something magical about spending a day at the Great Fair. Families enjoyed traditional fair food from corn dogs and juicy burgers to more daring selections like deep-fried Oreos and bacon fries. Students devoured colorful shaved ice, fresh-squeezed lemonade, and boba tea to keep cool. But no fair would be complete without exhilarating rides, including the classic Ferris Wheel, Scrambler, and Swing Chair. There were plenty of games for all ages and skill levels, too. Many tried their luck at Ring Toss, Long-Range Basketball, or Racing Ducks. And let us not forget about the Prize Booth and Marketplace—winning a giant stuffed animal or purchasing a homemade baked good is always a highlight of the Fair experience.

The Great Fair Raffle was another must-see stop for our families before the day's end. As students and parents entered the raffle area, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation. Our community eagerly purchased their tickets, dropped them into the designated boxes, and hoped to be lucky winners. Thank you to all of the families who generously donated to the raffle baskets and helped make it one of the largest in SC's history!
