National Latin Exam Results are Impressive Across Divisions

The Class of 2025 achieved stellar results on this year’s National Latin Exam.

Our youngest Sierra Canyon Latin scholars received a total of 47 awards. Three students, Hannah LaChappelle, Victoria Perry, and Peyton Hemann were recognized for their perfect scores.  Purple ribbons were awarded to 25 students, while 18 students received certificates of merit. Mrs. Anderson was delighted with the enthusiasm and diligence displayed by the 6th grade class throughout the year for their Latin studies….ad astra per aspera!

Upper Campus students also did an excellent job on the National Latin Exam. 37 students won awards, including 9 gold medals, 13 silver medals, 10 magna cum laude certificates, and 5 cum laude certificates. George Khouri, a sophomore in Latin III, earned a perfect score and will receive a hand-lettered certificate. Middle School students will receive their awards in an assembly next month, while Upper School students will receive their awards in class. Upper School Latin Instructor, Ms. Myers, expressed that she is very grateful to all the Latin students for their hard work.
