Kindergarten Class Hits 100% Participation in Sierra Canyon Fund

Last week the Kindergarten Class became the first class this year to hit 100% participation in the Sierra Canyon Annual Fund.

Each year, the Sierra Canyon community—parents, students, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends—support the School's mission and operations by donating to the Sierra Canyon Fund. The Sierra Canyon Fund supplies the resources that implement new academic initiatives, enhance our state-of-art programing, improve faculty resources, and sustain top-notch facilities. It also fills the gap between tuition revenue and what it actually costs to educate each student at Sierra Canyon. In short, the Sierra Canyon Fund ensures all students learn and grow to their fullest potential!

Gifts of any amount are so important to the SC Annual Fund, because statistics like 100% participation within a class, or faculty/staff, signifies to private foundations and corporate philanthropic programs that Sierra Canyon is made up of a dedicated and supportive community. Just this year, Sierra Canyon was fortunate to announce the receipt of a large grant from The Ahmanson Foundation to support the installation of a solar array on the Upper Campus. Grants like this are only possible with everyone’s help.

If you haven’t given yet, it’s not too late! Please consider clicking here to contribute to the Sierra Canyon Fund today. A gift of just $10 boosts our participation percentages and reinforces to corporations just how strong our community is. A huge THANK YOU to the Kindergarten Parents for their generosity! We hope to celebrate more classes joining the 100% Club before the year is over!
