SC Alumni Day Panel and Luncheon

This week at the Alumni Day Panel, juniors and seniors had a chance to hear from several former classmates on their experiences transitioning from high school to college after graduating from Sierra Canyon.

Chloe Arzy ’17 (USC), Jack Chiate ’17 (USC), Liza Gill ’19 (Texas Christian University), Jordan Pillsbury ’19 (Syracuse University), Emerson Tenney ’16 (Brown University), and Cheyanne Wallace ’15 (Loyola Marymount University, USC) came back to participate in this special presentation sponsored by the College Counseling and Alumni Offices. Former SC students had a chance to tell current juniors and seniors everything they wish they had known before going to college. Topics covered by the panel included, studying abroad, spring admits, dealing with roommates, academic loads, the importance of AP credits, campus social life, class size, and so much more! Students received great advice, including tips on time management and acclimating to a new city/environment.

In addition to this year’s panel presentation, the School hosted an Alumni/Faculty luncheon in which all former SC graduates were invited back to meet and greet old and new faculty, tour their former campus, and catch up with one another. Students and faculty alike enjoyed the chance to sit down and reminisce! We can’t wait to see even more alums next year!
