Fox '21 Running for Student of the Year

Sierra Canyon's own, Kennedy Fox '21 is running for Student of the Year for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Fox will be competing with high school students across the greater Los Angeles area to raise the most funds dedicated to curing blood cancer. At the core of her motivation is her family's history with cancer. Both Fox's aunt and mother have been affected by cancer, and Kennedy has taken on the tremendous task of raising $50,000 to help LLS in its fight against this difficult disease.

Since the inception of LLS in 1949, the organization has raised and contributed 1.3 billion dollars toward finding a cure. They have also funded some of the most effective treatments available to date, including immunotherapy and CAR-T. They have helped 1.2 million people nationwide through their cutting-edge research, patient access services, and advocacy efforts.

Bravo, Kennedy! We are so proud of your dedication toward LLS! Click here for more information or to help Kennedy reach her goal.
