Parent Education: Dr. Michael Wetter - Promoting Resilience in the Face of Challenge
It was a full house once again on Thursday morning as Dr. Michael G. Wetter, Psy.D., FAPA, came to the Upper Campus for the second installment of the SCSPA Parent Education Series.
From Pre-K through Graduation day, there are moments when every parent wonders how to best support their child(ren) through difficult times. Stress and anxiety are common issues for many people, including our children. Dr. Wetter addressed strategies for being your child's best advocate and safe haven in his presentation entitled, Promoting Resilience in the Face of Challenge: How parents can help their kids turn stress to success and reduce the worry.
Parents in attendance learned about support strategies they can use to have the most meaningful impact within specific development age groups. The session concluded with a very thoughtful Q&A period. Thanks to Dr. Wetter, the SCSPA, and to everyone who came!
