Painting and Drawing Students Visit Gallery 19C
Recently, SC parent Eric Weider (Elijah ’32) opened up his Gallery 19C in Beverly Hills to Ms. Northup’s third year painting and drawing students.
Mr. Weider gave students an informative lecture on the changes in painting from Neoclassical to late Impressionism as an introduction to the work that he sells in his gallery. SC artists enjoyed being able to study his paintings up close and asked plenty of questions about the artwork and the gallery. Ms. Northup says this was a very special afternoon for everyone!
