National Honor Society Induction Ceremony

The Sierra Canyon Chapter of the National Honor Society held its annual Induction Ceremony on Thursday, April 23rd

Over 160 computer log-ins watched as our current officers welcomed three members of the Class of 2020 and forty-four members of the Class of 2021 via the NHS's very first Zoom event.

More than just an honor roll, NHS serves to honor those students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character. Students who have successfully met the specific chapter qualifications and requirements are formally inducted into the organization during the second semester of their junior year or the second semester of their senior year, providing requirements are then met. Only seniors and juniors are eligible for selection, based on five or more cumulative semester grades.

We congratulate the newest members of the Sierra Canyon Chapter of the National Honor Society!
