4th Grade Californios Learn to Barter
This week, the 4th Grade recreated the Rancho Period during their very own Barter Day.
The Californios needed supplies and gratefully traded, or bartered, with outsiders. From candles and soap, to beads and scarves, the Class of 2029 simulated bartering with an item of historical significance.
We think the 4th Grade looks fantastic in their Rancho Period costumes. What a great way to learn about what it takes to build a community! Well done!
