National Latin Exam Results are in for 6th Grade

Ad Astra Per Aspera!

On Friday, April 30, Mrs. Anderson’s 6th Grade class celebrated their National Latin Exam results. The exam, taken by over 88,000 students from all 50 states, covers grammar, comprehension, mythology, derivatives, literature, Roman life, history, geography, oral Latin, and Latin in use in the modern world. Thirty-three students in Mrs. Anderson’s Latin class received recognition for their score on the exam. Gold and Silver medals were awarded to 16 students while three students, Thomas McCurley ’27, Margaret Domzalski ’27, and Elizabeth Small ’27, received a perfect paper!

Mrs. Anderson was delighted that her students had the opportunity to experience a sense of personal accomplishment and success in their study of the Latin language and culture.
