Noetic Know-How! More Student Success

Although we could not convene as a full Lower or Middle School to honor our mathletes' most recent successes, we did hold a small gathering Thursday, January 13, and Friday, January 14, to celebrate one of the contest's outcomes.

Noetic Learning, given in November, comes with the fanfare of ribbons and medals, both of which just recently arrived. Still, always attendant are the big smiles evident even behind student masks that result from hearing one's name called to receive an award and the knowledge of genuine achievement. Watch the videos and enjoy!

Of the 91 students who registered for the Noetic Contest, 43 finished in the top 50%  (Honorable Mention), with 12 finishing in the top 10% (National Honor Roll). Their individual and team success has been based upon their passion and practice, the dedication and frequency of the latter always stoking the joy and friendliness of the former. The beauty of this connection is that it is never too late so long as one is open to trying. This is where the strength of our school resides; the partnership of parents and faculty galvanized to encourage our students to strive and soar. So, do consider signing up your students for an upcoming contest (there will be more Caribou and Noetic in the future!)

And, speaking of the Caribou Contest this week, the third installment occurred with three more to go. Our students performed marvelously again. We have many students ranking in the top 10% of tens of thousands globally. Watch future editions of The Trailblazer for more updates, and contact Tom Keller with questions or sign-up inquiries.
