Upper Campus Brings Back International Luncheon

Today, students on the Upper Campus saw the return of one of the most highly anticipated and beloved school year traditions—the International Luncheon.

Students anxiously awaited admission to the event, which offered foods from many different countries for everyone to try.

This festival has become a favorite tradition at Sierra Canyon. Tom Fennell, SC’s founding language department chair, brought the celebration of National Foreign Language Week to Sierra Canyon in March 2006.

Since 2006, the week and luncheon have grown right alongside Sierra Canyon. These days students can enjoy an extended lunch period and some live world music while they try different foods from around the globe.

Thank you to the Parent Association for coordinating and serving at the luncheon. You made this a day our students will never forget!
