French Students Visit the Directors Guild of America

Last week, students from AP French, French IV Honors, and French III Honors went on a field trip to the yearly American French Film Festival (formerly COLCOA).

At the Directors Guild of America, where the festival was held, students experienced the North American premiere of a newly released French film, Two of a Kind, a comedy starring Bertrand Usclat and Ahmed Sylla and directed by Olivier Ducray.

After the screening, there was a Q&A with the director and actors. Many students stood in line to ask questions. Several schools from three counties attended the school each day of the festival week.

Some of the Sierra Canyon students were interviewed by the press in attendance after the show. Many took pictures with the film’s actors.

All of our French students report that they had a wonderful time! C’est Magnifique!
