Community Service Honors Go to 57 Trailblazers

On Friday, November 4, Shelley Deutsch, Sierra Canyon’s Service Learning Coordinator, honored 57 extraordinary service volunteers in 8th-12th Grade.

Collectively, Sierra Canyon's Community Service Honorees have volunteered 8,832 hours in the past year. In any year, this is an incredible number. However, this past year included a COVID surge where many nonprofit organizations were either still closed or operating with restrictions and limited volunteer opportunities.

Of this year's 57 honorees, 22 Trailblazers volunteered 100-199 hours, and another 21 volunteered 200-400 hours. We are so proud of these outstanding volunteers, and we applaud the positive impact they have made in our community.
