Lower Campus Pajama Day: Bringing In the Books

The results from the Lower Campus’s Pajama Day Book Drive, sponsored by the Lower School Student Council, are in! All proceeds from the Drive went to the Los Angeles Children's Hospital.

On December 13th of last year, the Lower Campus celebrated Pajama Day – but it wasn’t just a day to wear comfy PJ’s to class! On that day, the Lower Campus Student Council also held a Book Drive for the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. Books had to be brand new for health reasons, and gift cards as well as cash were also accepted.

The Drive, which lasted approximately one month, reaped some bountiful donations: 463 brand new books, $10 in cash, and $415 worth of gift cards!

Lower Campus Student Council president Constantine Theodoratos said, “I was thrilled with the participation from our Lower School families. I hope we will be able to create a new Pajama Day tradition!”
