The Rubin Family Library Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On Tuesday, March 20th, the Sierra Canyon community celebrated the ribbon cutting of the newly renovated Rubin Family Library.

Mark and Pam Rubin, grandparents of Brock and Eva Rubin, both Class of 2029, were joined by their family and Head of School Jim Skrumbis to cut the ribbon and formally open the space.

“The Rubin Family helped make our vision for a magical new Lower School Library a reality,” said Skrumbis. “They are an amazing example of true philanthropists and engaged community members.” Pam is a member of Sierra Canyon’s Board of Trustees. She is also a regular grandparent volunteer and regularly comes to read to her grandchildren’s first grade class.

All the Lower Campus grades attended the ceremony, as did many parents and friends of the School. A reception was held after the ceremony.
