Drop Everything And Read
Today marked the Sierra Canyon Lower School’s second Drop Everything and Read event, along with Character Dress Up Day.
Students all across the Lower Campus celebrated the yearlong theme of Once Upon a Time: a Journey through Literature. Students honored classic characters of literature, as well as new and vibrant characters from current best sellers.
In anticipation of the day, grade level teachers discussed possible ideas to make character connections to important pieces of literature. Students enjoyed turning in their spirit wear for their favorite costume on this special day!
