The Trailblazers are on a Winning Streak!

The SC Boys' Baseball team is in the midst of a school record—an 18 game winning streak—as they wrap up the regular season with a non-league game against Chatsworth High this afternoon.

This will be Sierra Canyon’s first game against the Chancellors who are the premier team in the Los Angeles city section.

“This is going to be a great opportunity for our team,” said Billy Edwards '18. “We have always wanted to play Chatsworth and finally get that opportunity. As a senior, I am super excited.” The Trailblazers will enter this game on a high note, not having lost since March 17th. Last week, Sierra Canyon secured its fourth Gold Coast League title in school history by defeating arch-rival Paraclete 6-0. Senior Chris Torres '18 earned his 10thvictory of the season by limiting the Paraclete Spirits to just four hits in the game.

Offensively, the Trailblazers are led by senior Noah Levin '18, who will attend George Washington University to play baseball next year. Levin hit his team-high fifth home run in the win against Paraclete.

The Trailblazers will begin their run for the School’s first-ever CIF Southern Section Championship at home next Thursday afternoon. Stay tuned for more details.
