Ben Ebeling ’18: USA Equestrian Federation Team

Ben Ebeling ’18 is one of only three athletes chosen by the U.S. Equestrian Federation to compete in the 2018 Dressage European Young Rider Tour. 

This tour is a program designed to give young riders international show ring experience individually, and as a team. Just days after graduating, Ben, his horse Behringer, and the two other champions chosen will head to Europe for a series of shows against the best in the world. The highest competition being the Future Champions Hagen CDIO-Y.

"I am extremely honored to be part of this tour. It is something that I have been working towards my entire athletic career. To be selected to compete on the United States National team is a dream come true," said Ebeling.

He will be leaving June 1st for Belgium, where he will be stationed with his horse, Behlinger. On June 12th-14th, Ben will be competing with his team of two other horse/rider combinations in Hagen, Germany at the Nations Cup event, one of the highest rated competitions in the world. There, they will compete against multiple other countries in order to achieve the highest scores possible and try to win an FEI Gold Medal.
