2nd Grade's Field Trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific
On Tuesday, May 15th, the second-grade classes visited the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach.
This field trip was an extension of the oceanography unit the students have been studying in class since April. Each group attended an educational program focusing on adaptation in many different habitats. Students also spent the afternoon exploring and learning about the different sea life in each of the galleries.
“Touching stingrays and moon jellies was a highlight for many students,” said Miesha Fernandes, Second Grade teacher.
