SC Film Students to Compete in AAHSFF

Two Sierra Canyon student films have been accepted into the nation’s largest and most prestigious high school student film festival.

The All-American High School Film Festival, which showcases short films from around the country, has selected “A Date With Destiny” (Matthew Serletic ’19, Aaron Wank ’18, and Arielle Alon ’18 ) and “Rosamund” (Iris Guo ’19, Coco Hua ’19, and Amelia Liu ’19) for its official competition in the Drama category. With over 2,000 submissions, the AAHSFF is the most competitive film festival at the high school level. Films are screened at the AMC Times Square in midtown Manhattan and are selected for awards by a panel of celebrity judges, including John Legend, Ed Burns, and Dylan McDermott. Winners are announced at a gala event at the King Theater in Brooklyn, Sunday, October 7th. To view the Sierra Canyon films in competition, click the links below:
