Friday Night Lights - Lower School Football Night

Last week the spotlight was on Sierra Canyon’s youngest football fans as they were welcomed to Lower School Football Night at Pierce College.

Between quarters Lower School Fall Athletic teams were introduced to the crowd and the halftime show included a high-stakes game of “Move the Chains”, in which Lower School students played for a chance to spend next week’s Homecoming game relaxing with friends on a couch in the end zone, complete with concierge service and the best view in the house! With a lucky roll of the dice by Head of School, Jim Skrumbis, the 2018 winner of "Move the Chains" was Mason Anderson ’26.

Festivities behind the stands included crowd favorites like face painting, Nitropod, SC Food Truck, Blaze photo station, and plenty of spirit wear to stock up on for your holiday gifts! In the end, the Trailblazers defeated Grace Brethren with a nail-biting 20-17 victory, and everyone had a great time. See you at Homecoming!
