Recently, The Hollywood Reporter compiled its second annual guide of the best independent schools in L.A. and Sierra Canyon was honored to make the list.
“The Hollywood Insider’s Guide to L.A. Private Schools 2018”, evaluates schools in categories such as ‘Cultivating a Creative and Free Spirit, ‘Raising Your Kids’ Ivy League Odds’, or ‘Learning Among the Most Powerful and Connected in Los Angeles’.
When it comes to ‘An All-Around Well-Balanced Child’, Sierra Canyon ranks as a runner-up in a list of top-notch schools. Mr. Skrumbis notes that, “Students here are taught that academic and extracurricular success fuel one another.”
It seems students can appreciate this approach as well. Actor Corinne Foxx ’12 remembers, “From middle school through high school, we were encouraged to seek out hobbies or studies that interested us personally.”
