AP Art History Students Head to the Getty for Renaissance Exhibit

On Tuesday, January 15th, AP Art History students spent the day at the Getty Center to view the Renaissance exhibition and works in the museum’s Renaissance and Baroque collections.

Students were led in discussions about the pieces by instructor and Arts Department Chair, Wendy Northup and by museum educators. Despite the rainy weather, the entire group had a wonderful day of culture and learning. Ms. Northup was delighted to see the students get so much enjoyment out of the trip, adding, “it’s always incredible to be in front of masterpieces by Bernini, Da Vinci, and Rembrandt.”
