Congratulations to Girls Basketball Coach Alicia Komaki, who has recently earned a remarkable career milestone.

While competing in last month's West Coast Jamboree, Coach Komaki claimed an impressive 300th victory for her coaching career at Sierra Canyon. This achievement is a testament to her unrivaled expertise and strategy that she brings to every game. Coach Komaki's impact on the program has transformed Sierra Canyon into a Girls Basketball powerhouse, with many players advancing to compete at the collegiate level.

In addition to her tactical expertise on the court, Coach Komaki prioritizes instilling crucial life skills in her players, emphasizing teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. Under her guidance, the Girls Basketball Team has flourished, showcasing exceptional athletic skill and a commendable balance between academic excellence and sportsmanship. Last year's team won the CIF-SS Open Division championship while maintaining a 3.9 grade point average. Coach Komaki's tireless dedication to her craft and unwavering support for her players have undoubtedly played a pivotal role in the program's success.
