Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field Run to 9 League Championship Victories
Congratulations to the Boys’ and Girls’ Track and Field Teams who had an outstanding performance at the Gold Coast League Finals last week.
The Trailblazers were led by freshman sensation Isis Diaz who won the 800m, 1600m, 3200m and was also a part of the 4x400m relay team that also raced to the championship. On the boys side, sophomore DJ Harvey won both the 100m and 200m and was a part of the 4X100m relay team that was victorious. Senior Christian Chitty won the 400m and freshman Jake Goldman won the triple jump. The CIF-SS Prelims are tomorrow, Saturday, May 4th at Carpentaria High School. The prelims are a great opportunity to spend a day up the coast and watch some of the best athletes in the state.
