International Visitors Participate in Special Service Project

Sierra Canyon School was pleased to host 25 visitors from China who participated in a very special service project recently.

In honor of Arts Week on the Upper Campus, and Valentine's Day, the students made beautiful cards to be distributed to residents at the Los Angeles Jewish Home. Saira Binepal '20, and Nia Holden '20, visited the home and did a presentation for the residents, followed by time spent handing out the Valentine's Day cards and visiting with everyone.

The residents were thrilled to receive the cards and thoroughly enjoyed talking with SC students. Also in attendance was Pam Rubin, SC Grandparent to Eva '29 and Brock '29. Pam is a member of the Board of Trustees both at Sierra Canyon School and the Los Angeles Jewish Home. Ms. Rubin gave a very poignant and meaningful talk about her involvement in both institutions. We thank everyone who was part of this wonderful endeavor.
