The annual 6th Grade Solar Car Race was held today, Friday, May 24th, on the Lower Campus.
The Class of 2025 has been working diligently on designing, testing, re-designing, and perfecting their solar cars within the classroom for the past five weeks. This project is the culmination of a study unit on renewable energy. It was a great day with fast cars, lots of sunshine, and enthusiastic students!
First Place: Racing Fire - Sinead Sullivan & Becky Luo
Second Place: Electric Astros - Ella Smith & Peyton Hemann
Third Place: Galaxy Gliders - Sophie Hench, Emily Mazzuca & Zoe Swinton
Congratulations to our winners and the entire 6th grade class for their hard work and dedication to this tradition!
