Lower School Football Night

Last week, Sierra Canyon’s youngest football fans came out to show their spirit as they were celebrated at Lower School Football Night.

The first home game of the season marked a very special Sierra Canyon tradition as students in grades Pre-K - 6 and their families filled the stands and cheered on the Trailblazers. Of course, the night wouldn't be complete without the high-stakes halftime game of “Move the Chains”. Lower School students played for a chance to spend the entire Homecoming game relaxing with friends and family on a couch in the end zone, complete with concierge service and the best view in the house! With a lucky roll of the dice by Head of School, Jim Skrumbis, the 2019 winner of "Move the Chains" was Elijah P. ’31.

Festivities behind the stands included face painting, The Nitropod Truck, Andy's Game Day Menu, and plenty of spirit wear to stock up for your holiday gifts! In the end, the Trailblazers defeated Lawndale with a 37-12 victory, and everyone had a great time!

Tonight the Trailblazers will meet the Oaks Christian Lions at Oaks Christian School. Kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
