Drop Everything and Read on the Lower Campus!
On Friday, October 18th the entire Lower Campus paused to Drop Everything and Read!
Grades Pre-K through 6 stopped what they were doing this morning at 8:50 a.m. and took part in a campus-wide D.E.A.R. event. For 20 minutes, students and teachers got comfy in their classrooms and escaped with a good book..
When all was said and done, over 10,000 pages were read across 25 classrooms. Genres included picture books, fiction, non-fiction, graphic novels, biographies, fantasy, mythology and historical fiction. Way to go, Sierra Canyon!
