7th Grade STEAM Class In Action

Under the instruction of Javy Martinez, Director of Educational Technology and Computer Science Chair, students build race cars out of mouse traps.

During their STEAM class, 7th grade students are speeding towards the finish line as they prepare their mouse trap cars for next week’s race. Newton’s First Law of Motion and the transference of energy were the key concepts of this activity.
