Middle School Students Partner with Local Elementary School
On January 31st, the entire Middle School returned to visit one of our community partners, Canoga Park Elementary School.
SC students spent the morning with Kindergarten and first grade buddies, doing math activities, practicing addition and number recognition, and working on math facts with flashcards. They also took part in a very special art project created by a current Sierra Canyon junior, designing butterflies and learning about symmetry.
Everyone enjoyed cookies and juice together, which added to the fun, and the students from both schools thoroughly enjoyed the time shared. All of these activities ADDED up to a great morning!
