Nurse Holly Asked to be Panelist for National Webinar

Last week, Nurse Holly Calig was honored to be one of four panel members in a Magnus Health Seminar, which helped school nurses and health educators around the country navigate new COVID protocols and best practices.

Each panel member represented an individual independent school and came from different parts of the United States. Nurse Holly represented California, and other panelists were from Chicago, IL, New York, NY, and North Carolina. Each state had various COVID testing requirements as well as vaccine and booster recommendations.

The coordinators at Magnus Health asked panelists to share about independent school versus district policies on testing and frequency. They also inquired about how different schools handled COVID positive students returning to school on the shortened 5-day isolation, which varied from state to state and city to city depending on Public Health guidelines.

Nurse Holly says that she was honored to be a representative from our state, local community, and especially . . . Sierra Canyon!
