On Wednesday, March 15th, Jalen Samuel was one of 12 children who were honored as being a Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation "Incredible Kid."

The Foundation posted on Facebook stating:
Jalen has a heart of gold. She will give anyone the shirt off her back if asked. She is kind, compassionate, and always looking for a way to help others or make others smile. She is an excellent student and athlete. Her family shared that they are incredibly proud of the young lady she is becoming. She strives to do the best she can always and has a particular interest in helping individuals with disabilities and children with cancer. She hopes that one day, no child will have cancer. #PCRFKids #IncredibleKidDay #ReachingfortheCure

Jalen has been raising money for kids with cancer since she was in preschool through bike-a-thons, walks, and, most recently, a Dribble-a-thon at UCLA. At the Dribble-a-thon, she was one of the organization's top 10 money raisers.

Congratulations, Jalen, on this well-deserved recognition. We are so honored that you are part of our community, and commend your dedication and compassion to making the world a better place.
