Middle School Academic Honors Awards

On Wednesday, May 16th, the Middle School celebrated the seventh and eighth grade classes, and recognized students receiving academic honors.

Those honors included Dean’s List (
students who received a 3.6 or above with no grade below a B- in any subject), Head of School List (students earning all A’s in all subjects), as well as students who received national recognition for their performance on the National French and Latin Exams. Thirty-nine students were also inducted into the Junior National Honor Society. Students with a 3.75 or higher GPA are invited to apply, and selected based on their participation in activities at school and in the community. This is the school’s most significant number of inductees ever.

Three major Middle School awards were also presented to the following:

*Community Service, given to Cooper Ratican ’22 for his volunteer work with Operation Gratitude and his temple
*Emerging Scholar, given to Matthew Goldwasser ’22 for overcoming physical and academic obstacles
*Polymath, given to Eugene Reicher ’22 for his involvement in theater, creative writing, and his overall scholarship
