Magnus and Immunization Information

California law requires schools to collect, review, and update students’ immunization records on a yearly basis. The following information details mandatory state requirements, necessary for admission prior to the first day of school. More information can also be found at The ShotsforSchool website.

Access to Magnus for the 2026-2027 school year will be available May 1. All required documentation must be submitted by August 15.

  • You will be required to upload mandatory medical documentation (physical exams and immunizations) directly to Magnus. Please note that if your child plays a sport on the Upper Campus, the physical must be completed using the CIF Approved Physical form in the Magnus Health Tracker. Free physicals will be offered over the summer for any student-athlete needing one. More details will be sent in a separate email.
  • Families are encouraged to schedule doctor appointments this spring to meet the August 15 Magnus upload deadline.
  • Students will not be permitted to start their first day of school without their Magnus submission.

The SC Portal you used for the admission process is now your daily connection to your child's academic life at Sierra Canyon. Grades, attendance, important dates, and all school-related forms will all be located on the SC Portal. Log-in credentials remain the same as during the admission process. Please remember that both parents and/or guardians have separate access to the Portal. If you need help accessing the Portal, please contact the Sierra Canyon Help Desk at [email protected]

Beginning mid-April, your division director will contact you to complete this process.

In late summer, new Upper Campus students will receive an email from our IT Department containing a username, temporary password, and instructions on how to access their school email and student portal.

In July, student schedules will be published on the Portal as well as associated book lists and summer assignments (if required).

As part of our phone-free school day policy, students in Grades 7–12 must bring a laptop or tablet for use in class, as cell phones are not permitted for academic purposes. New students will receive a separate email this summer with detailed information, including device specifications and usage guidelines.
