Testing Information

Please note that admission testing (ISEE or SSAT exam) is optional for applicants to grades 6-12 for the 2021-2022 year.

ISEE Exam Information

  • Sierra Canyon School's code is 054121. Applicants who choose to pursue admission testing may take the ISEE at any location and date on or before February 1, 2021. Additional information about testing and at-home, online testing options is available on the ISEE website: www.ISEEtest.org.
  • Sierra Canyon will host two dates on Upper Campus for Sierra Canyon applicants to grades 7-12 only:
    • December 5, 2020
    • January 23, 2021
    • Limited spaces are available to provide for small, safe, and physically distanced test rooms.
    • Please contact the Upper Campus Admission Office for Sierra Canyon's applicant code for registration.

SSAT Testing

  • Applicants may submit results from the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT) instead of the ISEE. Students may take the SSAT at any location and date on or before February 1, 2021. Additional information is available on the SSAT website: www.SSAT.org. Please indicate that the results be sent to Sierra Canyon.
* Applicants to Upper Campus (grades 7-12) are required to submit all standardized testing that has been administered at their respective schools for the current school year and previous two years. For some applicants, this may only consist of one state test result. All testing on file at applicants' schools are required to accompany official transcripts. This includes PSAT, ACT, and SAT scores as applicable to candidates to the upper grade levels.
