2025 Alumni Reunion: Reflections and Reconnections

The 2025 Alumni Reunion is officially one for the books, leaving everyone who attended with a healthy dose of nostalgia, reconnection, and Trailblazer pride.

Held on Saturday, May 31, on the Lower Campus, this year's reunion celebrated the Classes of 2010 (15 years), 2015 (10 years), and 2020 (5 years). Sierra Canyon alumni gathered from near and far to catch up with old friends, revisit familiar spots, and see just how much has changed—and how much still feels like home.

The evening began with a guided tour on the Upper Campus of the new construction site, set atop the former outdoor amphitheater. The group also viewed an architectural model of the upcoming Everest Family Center for the Arts, a stunning facility that will soon transform the performing arts experience for students on the Upper Campus.

Afterward, the reunion officially kicked off in the Orange Grove on the Lower Campus, where a large group from the Class of 2015 joined their former Lower School teacher, Mrs. Slipock, for a walk down memory lane. Fun fact: many of these alumni had Mrs. Slipock not just once, but twice, for both Kindergarten and 2nd Grade!

Guests were also thrilled to reconnect with a beloved group of faculty who continue to hold a special place in the hearts of our alumni: Bruce Buenaventura, Tom Keller, Alicia Komaki, Joseph Pflieger, Jessica Ricci, Noah Salamon, Chris Tillman, and Deborah Whitlock-Trotter. Their presence sparked countless conversations and fond memories.

Of course, no celebration is complete without a sweet ending: Berry Bliss was on site serving their signature homemade Dubai Chocolate over fresh strawberries—a delicious treat that sent everyone home smiling.

As always, the Alumni Reunion was a powerful reminder of the lasting bonds, shared stories, and enduring spirit that connects every Trailblazer past and present. Thank you to everyone who joined us—we'll see you again in 2030!
