What began as Beau J.'s '29 personal passion project grew into addLOVE, a nonprofit introducing over 100 young people to tennis through scholarships, mentorship, and play opportunities.
Founded in 2024, addLOVE is a youth-led nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to tennis through free clinics, scholarships for camps, lessons, tournament play, and grant funding that helps sustain and grow its reach. Last Friday, the organization brought that mission to Warner Center, hosting more than a dozen high school players for a Live Ball session, a fast-paced doubles format in which teams compete to gain and hold a “champion” side of the court. Among those joining were fellow Trailblazers Asher S. '29, Collin L. '29, and Austin Y. '30.
For Beau, the impact of addLOVE extends beyond the court.
"We are not just helping kids play a sport—we are helping them gain confidence, chase their goals, and believe in themselves. And having my friends and community support that mission with me makes it even more meaningful and special."
