Sierra Canyon Upper Campus students Enoch E. '28 and Zavier L. '28 have been selected to participate in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Blood Cancer United Student Visionaries of the Year program, which recognizes teens who are leading efforts to raise awareness and support for blood cancer research.

Together, Enoch and Zavier will lead a seven-week campaign in honor of a local pediatric blood cancer survivor, ensuring that a powerful story of courage remains at the heart of their mission. Becky L. '25, Zavier's sister, was the first Sierra Canyon student to participate in the program. Now, Enoch and Zavier proudly follow in her footsteps as the next Trailblazers to take on this meaningful role.

Enoch and Zavier are working closely with staff from the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to plan their next steps, set clear goals, and prepare for the campaign launch. As part of the Blood Cancer United program, student teams unite supporters of all ages in advancing LLS's mission to fund blood cancer research and patient services. Their campaign is set to launch early next year. All of their efforts will build toward a Grand Finale Celebration, which will unite teams from across Los Angeles to reveal the total impact made, and top fundraising teams will be recognized for their outstanding efforts.

Enoch and Zavier's leadership in the Student Visionaries of the Year program highlights how Sierra Canyon cultivates confident, compassionate young people who use their voices to shape a better future. Their work exemplifies the values and spirit that define the Trailblazer journey.
