Sierra Canyon School has been named to the 2025 AP School Honor Roll, a national recognition that honors schools whose Advanced Placement (AP) programs deliver strong outcomes while expanding access to rigorous coursework.
The College Board’s AP School Honor Roll annually recognizes schools for fostering a college-going culture, increasing students' opportunities to engage in college-level learning, and supporting college readiness. Schools earn one of four distinctions—Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum—based on student participation and performance.
This year, the School earned Platinum, the highest level of recognition, following a record-breaking year of AP achievement at Sierra Canyon.
In Spring 2025, 91% of AP exams earned passing scores, reflecting the academic rigor of the program and the commitment of students enrolled in advanced coursework. With more than 25 AP courses offered, students engage in advanced study across disciplines that emphasize critical thinking and analytical writing, while encouraging sustained engagement with complex material—preparing them for the demands of college academics and for learning that extends well beyond exam performance.
